Third in the World!

www.sport1.bg

Our national men's volleyball team continued its way in the world championship. It has only lost two matches. The first one was against Brazil, which didn't reflect on their participation and the and the other one was against Poland in the semi-finals. Despite this, they got the bronze. Now, team, we start keeping our fingers crossed for you for the next world championship (although you don't need this).

In one of their last matches they defeated France, it was a kind of rematch, because in the European championship we again were undefeated and then France put an end to this beautiful tale. It was expected, maybe, because we underrated them. But it was different this time! We started bad, the game wasn't going well and the score was 2:0 France. This was their time to be happy in this match. They were almost winners, but then they had an unbelievable loss of 2:3. Our boys showed how professionally they can play, and what an unbending spirit they have. They can play, and play beautiful games, but to reach finals in the next world championship they have to believe, just believe in their abilities. They mustn't give up when things don't go well, because nothing is lost until the last signal. They have to devote themselves to the game, inside them must be a will.

Bulgaria is a small country, but it has its traditions in different sports, including volleyball. Throughout the years we have proved ourselves to the world. The "biggers" have noticed us and now we are real opponents to them.
